hm. having the usual avalanche of ideas.

picture/image for the retail listing of a handheld, battery drive chainsaw. it's got some horror potential. I mean, yeah, would have beengood for TCM too—these dudes are made for a holster, yes? but I especially like how, being battery driven, presumably they're quiet until that trigger's depressed. could make for some good jumpscares, I have to suspect. I mean, if some Leatherface wannabe has one, then I guess . . . WOULD one of these be vulnerable to an EMP? not sure. but, lure that killer onto a plane, get up to elevation, and who knows, maybe that battery acts whacky. how this made it through TSA is another thing; maybe this could be a crop-duster situation. anyway, sort of wanting one of these. I can think of many things needing cutting. sitting in my backyard working on a screenplay right now, and everywhere I look, there's something else that might could be better with the application of a handheld, battery-driven chainsaw. but I think, to weaponize it, make it cinematically appealing and all, you'd have to take that kickback guard off, wouldn't you? that about doubles the cutting radius, and makes it where it can plunge in better. oh, though: blood and viscera, right? wonder if they mess with the battery's connection to this unit? maybe. bet they're designed for dry-use, not wet-. hm. thinking. will still be thinking after I hit Post, here . . .
