Immature red-tail hawk with aberrant coloring-not quite leucistic, but def not a normal color for GA. He arrived emaciated & we just discovered that he is missing cartilage in 1 leg, prob a genetic defect. We are researching treatment options & if non-releasable we will keep him as an ambassador 💛🪶🦅

This is the first Northern Harrier I’ve ever met. She’s young and not doing too great, came in with a body condition score of 1/5, and has retinal scarring on both eyes. But damn she is beautiful. I call her Debbie Harry 🪶🦅
