Pointy-haired boss making games. Fitness enthusiast (but bad at it). Non-employer-sanctioned opinions here.
This is extremely true.
Also, you should go watch Palm Springs.

Max is a very good, very happy, buddy cat

This is facially untrue: seditious conspiracy maxes at 20 years.

You know what would be a capital event in the right jurisdictions? Murder, as in "ordering boats exploded without presenting even a shred of evidence why."

(The death penalty should be abolished.)
Trump posts again about Democrats, saying their behavior is “punishable by DEATH!”

Cretons is like if pate was low-rent comfort food, and it shows up on all kinds of things where I'm from. I was never a fan but it's A Thing (tm).

I find "embarrassment" to be a trivial punishment for Bone Saws bin Salman.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Maybe I suck at my job, but I work in one discipline on one product and still find it hard to give more than one feature team the level of attention I want. I can't fathom being a co-CEO, executive chairman, and involved-founder all at the same time and contributing meaningfully to all.

True game dev story: Back around 2010, I was developing Facebook social games (think Farmville type with some twists). Specifically, my studio's second title like this! And I learned something that sticks with me to this day, completely by mistake.
I'll be honest: dunno that I'm willing to buy a "we HAVE to force tutorialization down players' throats" argument in a period where games like counterstrike, dota, minecraft, roblox et al are some of the most popular games in the world

We've gotten numb to a lot but it's important to remember that there was no "Russia hoax." The Mueller investigation didn't find there was no collusion; it didn't find a provable, chargeable crime. I can't believe I have to say this but not-illegally colluding with evil is still ethically wrong.
In case you missed it, Trump is still spiraling about the ‘Epstein Hoax.’

There’s so much else to point at here but also, by 11PM on a work night, I’m not drinking.
Eric Trump: "You can send $500 million worth of bitcoin on a Sunday night at 11pm while having a glass of wine with your wife for virtually zero fees."

Ok, now can we agree never to give Kim Davis the light of day again? Bigots from a former century can stay there, thanks.

It's trivial compared to *points at everything* but I used to derive a lot of fun ironic satisfaction from using "FAFO" until thugs like Hegseth decided that was an appropriate thing for government officials to repeatedly say.

I suppose in the end, I FO'd.

I am extremely certain this word is "Drumpf"
There should be a German word for white men who cannot conceive of possibility they'll be held accountable for their own actions.

Of COURSE Tesla shareholders approved a ridiculous pay package for Elon. It's a meme stock, with performance divorced from any fundamentals. The meme doesn't work without Elon. You can't remove a key figure from a character-centric meme.

If you're arresting people so fast that you have to hold them in squalid cells without access to lawyers or basic human dignities, you should stop arresting people so fast.

This. The admin and GOP have already been very clear that they're going to abuse rescissions and such to the point that no deal is trustworthy. Now Trump explicitly claims (impeachably, FWIW) that he's going to defy a court order where compliance is already in progress. Don't accept a bad deal.

It’s a small special election but I did the thing and you have an election this year, it’s your week!

In the end, I didn’t get recording and playback finished so I wasn’t able to make them sing, but I did get a first revision of my projection-mapped jack-o-lanterns. Now I have a list of changes to make next year, mostly replacing some Blueprints with C++ and I definitely need a better projector.

But it's totally uncivil and unacceptable to shun people who have shown their true colors through taking explicitly fascist actions when they show up in public and expect things like food service, do I have this right?
Vance says it is "totally reasonable and acceptable" for people to not want to live next door to people who speak a different language than they do

Use it.

I believe in a big tent. A tent big enough for people who did very dumb, and even bigoted, things in the past and sincerely regret those things and seek atonement.

My tent is not big enough for unrepentant bearers of Nazi symbolism.

You know how I know this is bullshit? Teenagers typically wouldn’t have these tests without a specific cause to check. I didn’t until I was a dude in my 40s trying to conceive.
RFK Jr: "Today the average teenager in this country has 50% of the sperm count, 50% of the testosterone of a 65 year old man. Our girls are hitting puberty 6 years early ... our parents aren't having children."

For any friends (even friends I’ve never yet met) going to No Kings 2 protests, just remember: if someone is trying to get you to do something violent or illegal, assume they’re a cop and ignore them.
