Breathlessly kinetic, exhaustively electric, and somehow continuously tops itself in crazed chaos, but with frustrating characterizations that could be the result of director Josh Safdie going solo without his brother Benny this time #MartySupreme

Currently filling out my first nominations ballot and the movie with the most nods so far is a mainstream movie that I don't even think they sent for awards consideration to any group I'm in. This is studio malpractice but also not surprising given who it is

I can
I can't get over the fact that they scheduled a televised Cabinet meeting, hyped it as a major event, planned it all out to show how active and in control Trump is ... and then he dozed off in the middle of it. Repeatedly.

Last thing I ever expected to be calling #AvatarFireAsh is boring. I supported JC doing five of these, but that's not going to work if redoing the same story beats every movie. Visuals are still unmatched, but it's also less impactful given the 2-year gap vs 10 between movies

I should make my critics friends draw straws to determine who has to wait with me for my bus after the 3+ hour movie tomorrow night

Sometimes I don't understand the hubbub about indie movies on here (especially somewhat pretentious ones about the magic of cinema), but #Resurrection is a stunning sensory experience. The New Year's Eve sequence might be the most breathtaking, immersive stretch I've seen all year

#MartySupreme I'm seeing people talk about this and the character like some endearing underdog story and, yeah, I get it, Timothée is endearing and charismatic no matter what, but to me it's a film about greatness and narcissism/assholery going hand-in-hand
