There's another category I refer to as "soft homeless" where you technically have somewhere to live, but are not in control of your ability to stay.
You're roommates, but your home is a friend's couch, a sibling's spare room, or even a bad relationship you want to leave but have nowhere to go.

And, I told my students about how I failed out of my first university, did a life reset with community/state college. It is important, to me, that they understand I am not some always "brilliant professor," but one who has a journey as they do.
