My literal favourite thing about running a small studio: we can make things better overnight.
- If you found the TR-49 screen uncomfortable to read / focus-on, try the new Reduce Glitches setting; it's significantly crisper / easier to read.

1) REDUCE GLITCHES: Reduces text animation for more comfortable reading
2) REDUCE HINTS: Deductive mode for self-directed play

For me, one thing that made this a great launch was how we teased it, blurring the lines of reality and fiction in the marketing.
I'd spent the summer going down the rabbit hole of My Chemical Romance's Black Parade tour & loved the idea of creating a sort of ARG around the game launch.

TR-49 is our best launch, ever, in 14 years.
I admit I'm surprised! Made in 9 months, mostly as an experiment to learn Godot, and an excuse to play with some actors. (And for me to do some acting.)
One thing I think IS cool: it's a "one-sitting" game. 4 hours; $7. No commitment required.

Look, I know I'm inherently biased... but goddamnit I can't stop thinking about TR-49 and how soon it's releasing. I can't wait for people to get their hands on it; I just hope it lands with as huge a splash as I think it should. It's such a special, uniquely inkle game, and I hope you check it out.
