It's not a new trick for this genre; Modern Warfare 2's big gimmick was basically 'Red Dawn.' But playing soldier in a burning Brooklyn makes Battlefield depressing, especially at a time when the president is sending armed forces to democratic cities.

I played a bunch of Yakuza Kiwami 3 at TGS.

RGG obviously has an impressive pipeline for producing high-quality games quickly... HOWEVER, while the new combat looks great and the Dragon Engine has never looked better, I am not sold on several creative choices.

The name and the pacifier make me think it's either some Sims-like family management game (the player is moving the pacifier) OR some horrendously sad animated short about a deceased relative staying close to the family from The Beyond (a ghost is moving the pacifier)

Once-in-a-lifetime dream remake (dreamake!) Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter should have been my perfect video game. It wasn't. Here I hope to process that disappointment and let it go. I've gone on record ad nauseam that The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky was the video game that inspired me to tread my career path. Or maybe it's more accurate to call it the final push over a threshold I'd been approaching all my life.
