Marlin approached the doors to the Beastieball center with an exhausted groan, as another massive crashing noise erupted from behind the doors. He just wanted to get some sleep after the Halloween party, but it seemed some partygoers decided to stay until 4 AM and start causing a racket. He threw open the doors to the stadium and prepared to admonish whoever was responsible. Instead, his eyes widened as he found his Yamyth and Ace’s Shloom on the court, spiking Ultimate Attacks at each other repeatedly, competitive grins on their faces. Apparently even the god of sports was not above forming rivalries.

Fascinating work here tracing how the IDF recycled 3D assets from a cyberpunk sci-fi art project, the Scottish Maritime Museum and elsewhere to populate its widely-seen models of supposed enemy locations in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran. One of the most infamous, the alleged underground Hamas command center at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, used to justify an unprecedented assault on the biggest medical center in Gaza, was actually an animation the IDF had used the previous year, saying at the time it was a tunnel beneath a UN school.

Taking a walk through the Solanum Weald on Halloween night is not the best course of action for one’s nerves. You’ll often find yourself freezing in your tracks and breaking into a cold sweat. Sometimes from spotting the shadow of a Webbounce, skittering across your path from bush to bush. Sometimes from hearing the eerie calls of Yueffowl echoing through the trees. And sometimes from your Rookee expressing their dissatisfaction with having to follow you through this place, using some words they learned from your friend. That may be the worst of the three, actually.

A cluster of inkcaps, bathed in the moon’s light. The Sprecko drew a shaky breath and stepped closer. They’d been putting this off for far too long. Yes, change is terrifying. But they knew this was something they had to do. They knew they were ready now. After taking a moment to ground themself, feel the grass, feel the air, feel the beckoning call they’d ignored for so long, they reached out and laid their hand on the mushrooms.

One free spot remains. The lone Beelb’s eyes widen in curiosity as they slither up a pipe, climb onto the wire, and fit themself into the open spot.
