I’m working on building long-term organizing power across Missouri as ED of AmplifyMO Actions. In 2024—our first year—we helped county committees open 6 offices, hire staff & reach over 90,000 voters.

I'm looking for 1,000 sustaining donors to keep investing in democratic county committees.👇🏾

Not a word from the FBI or any other DOJ component that I’ve seen.
Noticing the stark absence of agents of ICE, CBP, or any U.S. law enforcement agency standing up right now to say shooting people exercising their rights is unacceptable.

Yes, JD. Let’s ask them if they think a stay at home mom, avowed Christian, and widow of a veteran deserved to be shot in the face and left to bleed out in her own car after dropping her 6-year-old off at school, for the crime of looking out for her neighbors. Let’s ask everyone running for office.

Too many to count.
How many times a day do Black people either roll their eyes or correct the myriad exclamations from white people that this country is not what we know & things are happening that never happened to anyone before. We have the answer book. Racism will keep whites from ever getting their country right.

If any city department incurred litigation costs due to errors and misconduct, that department would have been defunded decades ago. ‪@arrianna-planey.bsky.social‬ is right when she says the p*lice are defunding YOU—because that $228M is likely to come from general revenue.
In all, taxpayers have spent more than $300M so far in 2025 to resolve lawsuits alleging Chicago police officers committed a wide range of misconduct, according to an analysis of city data by WTTW News.

The city budgeted just $82.5M to cover the cost of police misconduct lawsuits.
Since the start of the year, Chicago taxpayers spent $204.6 million to resolve lawsuits brought by 22 people wrongfully convicted based on evidence gathered by the Chicago Police Department, according to an analysis of city data by WTTW News.

This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.

It’s wild to me that Democrats have the fucking balls to send dozens of fundraising texts asking for money when they’ve done a lackluster job standing up to straight up fascism.

Do better.

@zeteo.com Compare and contrast Donald Trump's response to Rob Reiner's murder with Biden and Harris's responses to Charlie Kirk's murder.

There is no 'both sides'. Just one side - Trump - that is cruel, sociopathic, unhinged.

🧵A leaked DOJ memo shows the Trump FBI is drawing up an enemies list that could encompass well over half the US public.

If you align with any of the following, congrats.

You may be headed for Bondi's list.

Also set up a cash reward system for people who turn in anyone who promotes these thoughts.
Trump just took this giant step towards authoritarian rule — and the media ignored it

Josh Hawley’s “health care plan” is pure trickle-down: families pay $25,000 a year in medical bills (a third of their income!) and get a $3,000 tax break later.

This isn't a plan—it's a coupon handed out too late to actually provide relief from the high cost of health insurance.

It’s funny that the news wants to have the conversion about Trump running for a third term…. after all these years, they still don’t understand this man… He is not running for a third term. He just will not leaving office. 🙄

Missouri Republicans must be REALLY SCARED that Missourians are fed up with them overturning the will of the people all the time & forcing a mid-decade gerrymander that eliminates the congressional seat held by the former chair of the Black Caucus in Congress. Just blasting our phones with lies.

Aside from the cowardice on issues of importance and reliance on anti-trump sentiment to motivate voters, the consultants that recommend this garbage that inundates our phones, to candidates and political organizations are what’s killing the Democratic Party.
