BREAKING: The House of Representatives voted 285–98 in favor of a resolution condemning socialism.

Eighty-six Democrats joined Republicans in supporting the measure, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

Gary Oldman record this speech in character please
Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

My Dad has some kind of dementia. Both Biden and Trump's speaking patterns remind me of talking to him. Yeah, Biden was worse. Doesn't change the fact that Trump clearly has decline.
NYT isn’t worth reading because they are in the bag for Trump

And a weird development: I am able to open .mil domains when I use my VPN to access it with a French IP address.

Are .mil domains down for just American IPs?
Army.mil right now.

Weird, your post made me think to try a VPN and it DOES work when I use a French IP address...

I think the entire .mil domain (US military websites) is down right now? I was trying to go to a site on AI.mil and it was down, and then I checked army.mil and marines.mil and they're down too.

Even if I try to put myself in an empathy-less mindset where I try and think as if I don’t care about the humanity of undocumented (or perceived as undocumented) Americans, I just can’t seem to understand prioritizing deportations like this.

The effort and money spent on it?! Why!? Who cares??

It’s an action-packed examination of how the ultrawealthy escape accountability and how we need solidarity among EVERYONE outside that elite group, told through the story of one 68 year old superspy taking matters into his own hands.

The title?

Bernie Sanders Kills Jeffrey Epstien.

Any buyers?

But he was never outed as a spy, stayed in government, and continued to rise until he was elected to the Senate.

He goes on a mission to rescue Clinton and Trump, not because he likes them, but because no one deserves that treatment, and because the real villains are even more craven billionaires.
November 21, 2025 at 1:23 PM
No one believes him. But luckily he’s expertly trained in combat and spy craft because he’s a former KGB agent, assigned to infiltrate the American government in 1981 via election to a local office, eventually rising to a congressional seat just days before the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Would anyone read this as a graphic novel if I wrote it:

In 2009 a Senator is investigating ties between newly convicted Jeffrey Epstien and the big banks and discovers something wild: Epstien’s REAL customers are SO powerful that people like Donald Trump and Bill Clinton are actually the VICTIMS
November 21, 2025 at 1:23 PM
I don’t care who ‘went to the island.’

Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of soliciting little girls for sex in 2009. That was widely reported top Google result stuff.

Willfully ignoring that and doing business with or socializing with or defending him because he had money and connections is craven.

All the lies and conspiracy theories about Musk etc do nothing but dilute the real villainy of these men.

Like this viral post with totally false copy: Karp said he wants to spray urine on financial analysts-which is itself insane! He's also OPENLY pro-genocide, just not in this clip. So why lie?

We all should've been suspicious of a man named Summers who went into academia, the one field notorious for mostly not operating during summers.

*sitting in a darkened room reading reams and reams of epstien files, finally reading the last one, taking my glasses off, slowly looking up, and saying "my god... the global financial system has been protecting and empowering the ultrawealthy."*

Pretty sinister undercurrent to this story about how a much older, very wealthy man in journalism lured a teenager into the profession through extremely inappropriate power dynamics

So if Olivia is 32 now, broke up with Lizza last year, was together with him for a decade, and then was living with you for 4+ years before that, how old was she when you moved her out of her (presumably parents’) house in the suburbs to live with you?
Btw about this from Lizza's reply: Olivia and I lived together for 4+ years (4 b'days, 4 Xmases, 4 anniversaries). That's like $1250 of jewelry per celebration. And her apartment was a writing studio. And I made an f-ton then. What was I supposed to do? Get her a lot of Gift Certificates from Kmart?
