And disabled people too. Yall think shit is just getting bad now because its now affecting you, you didn't have a problem with it when poor disabled people, maori and other marginalized groups were marked and treated as unhumans. And none of you ever stopped

It'd be nice to pretend Trump and his orbit are playing 4d chess but it's pretty clear to everyone they're just fucking craven and stupid

Now you have this genuinely sick 1980s horror movie villain approaching this 'discourse' from an actual federal office.

America is literally now run by a bunch of the biggest fucking loser boomers ever who have been driven insane by the internet.

The whole conflation of circumcision with female genital mutilation is and remains anti Semitic, a fake incel victim culture thing and just absolutely an unhealthy closet gay obsession with penis.

It's super disgusting that they attempt to connect the two.

Now we are either an american thrall state or as Atwood posited defined by our 'not American'-ness.

Images of our rugged expanses, wartime images and a celebration of indigenous culture: these are the quintessential 'Canadian' identity *before* we became an ersatz america or a reactionary culture.

We *had* an identity of our own before we allowed it to simply be a reaction to america.

Killarney and Algonquin park are some of the images captured by Canada's most famous painters: the group of seven.

Between the late 19th and early 20th century they produced perhaps the most iconic images which define Canadian identity *pre gamer gate and the american culture war*

You should visit! The main attraction is the 78 km silhouette trail which summits all the peaks of the La Cloche mountains. Hikers normally take between 4-10 days in the trail. The campsites are all beside water. It is however quite rugged and not perhaps the best choice for the uninitiated.

Killarney provincial park is beautiful. It's sort of amazing boreal forest with what passes for mountains in ontario. There are many lakes. The geology of the region is fascinating. The trails are forbidding.
Windswept pine trees cling to white quartzite rock. From high up we are looking down in a still lake reflecting a blue sky with few clouds. In the distance are hills that are dark green with conifers but the red and yellow of fall colours is bursting through in patches. The forest stretches out uninterrupted as far as the eye can see.

Yes! It was super neat. They were all so small.

We had some other wildlife! We startled a bear in the middle of the night and heard it clambering down a tree and tearing off breaking very big branches! That was very unsettling!

We heard wolves also! They sounded pretty far away though.
