Ive sort of loosely connected those movies and the growth of q for years actually, not specifically this but just that it came out at the height of Bush era nationalist jingoism and seemed to consciously or unconsciously lean into a kind of feeling of exceptionalism in a family friendly way…

I don’t know what’s up with talk radio now, once options got decentralized out of gigantic hands like clear channel and people didn’t have to hear it I think many never did again. I’m sure it’s still out there warping people on a smaller scale.

Yes and no, talk radio was very right leaning in a very large negative way, podcasting has some negative stuff but there is an ideological variety.
