So I made a toolroll from an old rice sack. Sewing is harder than welding.

Is Target a capitalistic company when it's bleeding millions because it's following a recommended federal request (drop DEI)? Seems like the White House is running Target not the free markets. That sounds more like communism, where the government owns all businesses. #boycott

Bluesky works because you can actually see the people whose content you want to see, the engagement isn’t inherently transactional, and people can spend their time and energy building relationships instead of gaming an algorithm
Engagement is one of the things I like best about Bluesky, and I followed a lot of folks in the early days here because they were just plain fun and interesting to talk to.
One of the great things about early Bsky is that we promoted the idea of engagement. That is, instead of follow for follow, we followed those who conversed with us. Engagement leads to connection. So please, let’s not lose that! Engage, not just like—that’s why I follow folks, myself!

A new TV is great, but the set up time!
All the settings, apps and registration. Over 2 hours!

Using a tv remote as a keyboard is the bottleneck. Anyone try hooking a keyboard into the TV USB port?

Still can't hear the dialog over the background noise. Do I need a soundbar?

For the metallic finish on my Mandalorian helmet, I buffed on graphite powder! I protected the finish with a gloss clear coat and then used water-mixable oil paints to add some contrast.
