Hello and welcome to #GardensHour!

It’s the final chat in November, so let’s look back. What have been your highlights? Any lows?

It’s also Q&A week - look out for the question thread coming in a moment…
Thanks all for another fab #GardensHour

Some wintery weather causing damage for some, still lots of colour around and some warmth for others, as well as some very hot temps in southern climates! What a mix we’ve seen!

Next week we welcome December. I’ll see you then 👋

Thank you, but perhaps it might be better to congratulate me after reading it :-) you never know you might not want to. It will be available around January on Kindle and for print on demand also on Kindle and then who knows.

Nothing much this month except I went and wrote a book :-). It’s with the editor right now and there’s more information here. Possible cover with working title attached here. #gardenshour

Evening all. A Highlight has been the late flowering annuals & perennials. A low? The first frosts arrived late last week & have finally put an end to the Fuchsia 'Delta's Sarah's' flowers, turning the blooms into armless ballgown wearing zombies. Mind you, it was late November! #GardensHour 🌱

The dahlias are out of the pots. Wow, they had bulked up. Great to be able to get on with the tulips. Mixing the compost is like making a rich cake, yum! #Gardenshour #Gardening

One highlight of the November garden for many in the UK has been the roses which have kept going for so long. This is Rosa ‘Lucky’ a few days ago.

I have found a pecan in one of my pots almost daily this month. How do I find them? By seeing a slightly uprooted plant or a bit of broken leaves. Thanks, squirrels! 🤌🏽 🐿️
Other than that, it's still warm in Houston and I've started a variety of seedlings these last few months.
