Oh, devastating ..
Still remember the surprise the first time reading this. It's not that the form is "hidden"... just somehow it only registered for me with those last two incredible lines. And then I had to read it all again.

Caught lobbying for cash or bullying in Parliament? You can still return to the House of Lords - for life.

Ban rule-breaking peers from the House of Lords.
Lords found guilty of serious misconduct – like bullying or lobbying for cash – still get to make our laws. I just signed a petition to kick rule-breaking peers out of the Lords for good. Want to add...

Happy St Catherine’s Day! She’s the patron of women students, anyone who works with wheels (e.g., potters), tanners, philosophers, and librarians. She’s also my confirmation saint. I love this painting of her by Caravaggio.

Read this and buy a bunch of indy press books.
Aplica para todo el mundo.
It may well be the case that small, independent presses are the lifeblood of literature, and a vital feature of our cultural landscape, providing an essential service in a complex ecosystem, like wrasses or shrimps. What is undeniably the case is that we have sold a total of five books this month.

Dismantling the myth that we live in a meritocracy is one of the most urgent changes needed".

Poverty inflicted on the masses whilst wealth and power is concentrated in few hands.

50 families have more wealth than half of the UK population.

Political system bought by the rich.

Tax the rich.
