Today is a great day to put the waterproof spray on your boots because you can still leave them outside until the headache inducing smell goes away.
3 pairs of Chelsea boots (grey, brown and black) lined up on an outdoor deck box after being sprayed with silicone spray.

If someone wants to buy me the diptyque one, there a toenail painting video.

It’s $2.20 at my building cafe. Which is still too much.

I used to have the worlds dumbest dog, and as I was walking her at 2am, looking at my phone, I looked up and were surrounded by a pack of 10 deer. I froze, she didn’t even notice.

Sometimes your spoiled cat just wants to put his head on your shoulder when you’re prepping dinner. I have to walk around like this rocking him.
A woman holding a cat on her hip. The cat is facing away from the camera with his head resting on her shoulder.

A friend of mine just retired from the airport. He meets up with his friends to recreate their coffee klatch every few months. It was hard work, but he makes more in retirement than he ever made working.

Prepare for the ‘vid shot taking you down for a bit.

Nah. You’re good! I’m weirdly picky about food textures.

I wasn’t aware that anyone over the age of 10 actually drank milk! Cheese and ice cream I’m ok with, milk just grosses me out.

Between allergies and colds, my nose would be always red! For a bit they had antiviral tissues that were impregnated with citric acid and that ruined my nose.

As cold and allergy season ramps up, let me remind you that buying the lotion tissues will save your nose, but if you wear glasses, write yourself a note on them to not use on your glasses.

I think J is a few years older than you. It doesn’t do a great job of holding up, but he understood why it was an important movie. (The whole kids left alone in weird situations that’s a GenX hallmark)

Given how many people I know named heather, it really is a block! I made J watch Goonies last year because he had never seen it.

Why can’t they start the timer from when you called??

I have not seen Titantic or Heathers.

Inspired by a post I just saw in which someone admitted they hadn’t seen a single episode of Friends nor the film Love Actually… what cultural hole do you have that’s a bit weird for your generation?

I’ll go first: I haven’t seen Dirty Dancing.

I bought a new hand held carpet cleaner because cats and I cleaned the seats on my dining room chairs and I can’t believe how filthy the water was. The fabric is cream colored and the cats slobber on them but this was offensive.

It *could* be an ARC, so I’m just going to have to wait and see. Usually I don’t forget what I ordered cause I’m excited for it.

I was always so jealous of the girls that would round off into the ropes. I could barely do normal jump rope.

I got a notification for a package from random house….and I have no idea what book I preordered.

Scientists revive old Bulgarian recipe to make yogurt with ants. Ants carry lactic and acetic acid bacteria that help coagulate milk, as well as formic acid to acidify it. They even partnered with Danish chefs to create three recipes using ant yogurt. arstechnica.com/science/2025...

My diagnostic one, that I also called about and was told was covered at 100% and still got a bill for that too!! Density is so common and being billed extra is like being billed extra cause you’re tall. It’s bullshit.

Yep. I just got a bill for mammograms that I called and confirmed had no cost associated bc they were preventative care.
