I can finally announce, a feature-length documentary about my accomplishments as an activist, writer and athlete is in production for the CBC titled FABULOUS BODY OF MINE.

It will be released on GEM, March 1, 2027, with film festival and limited theatrical release in 2026
Today, I invented a new Granny Square cos I wasnt happy with all the choices already published for a design I'm working on, as one does

Yes. Maybe 1% of my posts promote my work. That's never been my reason to use social media
Hey artist/creator/writer/etc people: if tomorrow you were guaranteed a very comfortable living the rest of your life, how would that affect your relationship to social media?
February 14, 2026 at 4:52 PM
The same way I do now:

Sport
Analogue hobbies
A fuck tonne of volunteering and working with community groups
Before AI, before SM and even computers: What did you all used to do to combat loneliness and boredom? Who did you talk to (or did you need to talk to people)? How did you develop relationships?

Pretend this is a poll. For science.
I may make a pie chart.

It's small comfort but comfort all the same that the entire country stops and unites when tragedy strikes

The vigil tonight was quite moving, though obviously difficult. If you weren't watching, I'd encourage you to find video of it later.

The story about the teacher who had to lock their own child out of the classroom when the shots began has destroyed me

I think the PM and the party leaders flying together to Tumbler Ridge is an important, vital gesture of unity and solidarity, but I think it can also speak to seriousness — to not accepting what happened on Tuesday and to realising it's something that demands a response.

When I'm ready to come back to social media properly, anyone interested in seeing how I eat when I'm in muscle gaining mode? Like the opposite of #JulesPrep when I'm getting competition lean?

My current WIP is super cozy and I can't wait until it's finished so that I can write about the harrowing tale of getting it completed. "Harrowing" may be overselling it but it was not without roadblocks beyond my control, like a courier losing my yarn

The RCMP Deputy Commissioner just misgendered the shooter on PnP.

@davidwcochrane.bsky.social and othet anchors: You need to correct this when it happens in real-time!!!

This puts trans Canadians lives at risk for added physical violence! I'm not being hyperbolic
February 12, 2026 at 10:13 PM
How do I email the general news desk for CBCNN? They continue to underline the shooter's trans status like it's relevant when it absolutely is not. Latest example "transgender woman" instead of simply "woman". They dont underline "cisgender" when talking about any other shooting

Do you like food and science? Then you'll love the latest episode of Gastropod about disability and design in the kitchen on which I was a guest!

Thankfully this former RCMP dude said being trans has nothing to do with this. CBCNN needs to do more of this and less of all the other anti-trans bullshit today
February 12, 2026 at 1:35 AM
Hey @ianhanomansing.bsky.social You should shut down anti-trans rhetoric when doing live interview

So much of today's coverage in CBCNN is putting trans Canadians lives at risk

As it a grandchild is writing in a card "grandpa you inspired me to become a teacher now continue to inspire me and get vaccinated against RSV" LMFAO

This is an example of a bad advert
February 12, 2026 at 12:30 AM
Anyway, have some photos of the guardian of my galaxies
February 11, 2026 at 11:03 PM
The fucking former RCMP commissioner just now saying the shooters transition may be a factor on PnP.

Just fuck off. Thanks for another bullseye, asshole
February 11, 2026 at 10:38 PM
When this is all over, 22 Minutes needs to do a sketch about the lecturn that is remotely raised for David Eby and lowered for other speakers in same presser malfunctioning
February 11, 2026 at 10:21 PM
@davidwcochrane.bsky.social please read. The language you used just now is anti-trans and I know it was unintended. This will help you do better

I decided to check FB for a second. I dont have an active account. I have inactive biz pages, no friends, no groups. It only exists to manage biz account which unfortunately is all people in Duncan use to locate businesses.

Anyway! Nothing but anti-trans rhetoric about the shooting in my feed
February 11, 2026 at 9:34 PM
At least the RCMP quickly corrected @globalnews.ca when the reporter misgendered the suspect during the presser.

(There is so much crap about today, I'm just trying to find something that shows progress as life will be extra hell for trans Canadians in the months to come.)
February 11, 2026 at 9:04 PM
I cant wait for Trump's post blaming trans ppl. He's been quiet. You know he will now that the identity has been confirmed
February 11, 2026 at 8:44 PM
Welp. I'm officially extra unsafe and at added risk of physical violence in my community now. Cool.
February 11, 2026 at 8:06 PM
I wish this fucking place had private accounts so I can safely share the feelings of having family members drag my trans identity into discussions about this shooting in ways that make me very unsafe.

Anyway, I'm not here. Just needed a second to vent and yet again stress to journalists: do better
February 11, 2026 at 7:24 PM
I'm gonna use this brief proof of life period to say: pre-order this book! I was lucky enough to read it awhile ago and I devoured it in seconds. I could not tear myself away from it.

Anyway, hold your loved ones close. I'll be back when I'm back
