Shaky morning at my house!
This same area had another sequence that started in 11/2002 that continued into 2/2003. That sequence included a bunch of M3+ events and a few M4’s just to the southeast (not included on this list below).

Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to swear me into office, an unprecedented and starkly undemocratic position that sets a very dangerous precedent.

When someone is drawn to a map, it can be about “connection to a place, a reminder of who they are as a human being, and an identity," says Andrew Middleton, owner of The Map Center. Here are some of the maps *you* shared with us. ⬇️

When you live in a gerrymandered state, you can’t just vote better.

That’s the point of gerrymandering. To take away your vote and voice. To silence you.

It's funny how vaccines worked so well that now infant mortality is low enough for all the new generations to forget it was ever a common thing.

Vaccine stability has made us forget why it was so important in the first place.

Before vaccines, 450 children died out of every 1000. Now? 20.

👏👏👏 following the science & protecting the people from preventable illness.

Smart states know there’s money to be made in vaccine tourism. Come to the West (by car, plane, train, bus), perhaps stay in a hotel, purchase gasoline, eat in a restaurant. All of these actions benefit state pocketbooks.
In response to the dismantling of the CDC, California, Oregon, and Washington have launched the West Coast Health Alliance, which will make their own science-based vaccine guidelines, and make sure vaccines are accessible to everyone.

When people say "We used to drink raw milk from our own cow and it was fine,"

That's... usually not the case!

In families w their own cow, the mom usually boiled it before using.

We just forgot bc that's a boring chore that mom did. And who pays attention to that?

You know what else removes “tar & nicotine”? Not smoking! Anywho… Kent made cigs with crocidolite asbestos filters for a bit in the ‘50’s.
I was going to post that #chrysotile was used as filter in Kent cigarettes (!) in the 50s. However, that turns out - thanks, wiki! - to be blue asbestos (fibrous riebeckite, Na₂(Fe²⁺₃Fe³⁺₂)Si₈O₂₂(OH)₂), in contrast to white asbestos (chrysotile, ~ Mg₃(Si₂O₅)(OH)₄). Very educational, this #MinCup25!

Chrysotile appears as a silvery-shiny vein in sunlight. It has a scroll-like shape and can separate into long strings, which made it possible to weave into clothing. Johns Manville salesmen had fireproof jackets made with chrysotile, supposedly they could light a sleeve on fire?
