Sending this to the various intelligent, articulate people I know who voted for brexit. They always believe they had good reasons ("at the time"), but in reality they were always just doing what these people wanted...
We’ve known for a long time Brexit was asshole Americans baiting the racists into shooting themselves in the balls so Americans could sell us more trash cheaper. Weird to see it spelled out so clearly.
Definitely seems like they destroyed the country on purpose.

Space-based data centres are the CCS of big tech. They'll just be perpetually around the corner, there will be a handful of flimsy demonstration projects, and the concept will just suck up gov't subsidies for decades while serving as a rhetorical tool to fend off real regulation of industry

Please spread this far and wide, as stories don't get much bigger than this. When the government blocks even the intelligence services from telling us we're heading for environmental catastrophe, you know we have a problem. A very big problem.
Thank you.

Where, in the manifestoes of the biggest parties in almost any country, including those once on the left, will you find a call to make billionaires history?

Here Musk articulates the unspoken creed of the global elite, gathered at Davos: being right or wrong doesn't matter anymore, as long as you're in on the grift.
Musk, who has been wrong with many of his past predictions, says this before walking off stage: “For quality of life, it’s better to err on the side of being an optimist who is wrong, than a pessimist who is right.”
