if a dolphins fan is ever mean to you over a man who was a 22-26 head coach in the ACC before being the worst in-game defensive coordinator in the league this year, you have legal and moral obligation to punch them in the nose

I have friends who are Miami fans just because they "went to Miami" and "have degrees from Miami" and "have been rooting for Miami for 15 years." They're laboring under the delusion that they're more passionate about Miami than I am about Indiana tonight. It's simply hilarious

Sarah Strong became the third-fastest UConn player to reach 1,000 points, doing so in 59 games. Only Paige Bueckers and Maya Moore did so faster (55 games). (Strong is, notably, not even averaging 30 minutes per game this season)

...the wording here very much implies that San Diego Wave really did allow Cascarino to leave and then immediately sign for LCL?!
(... was it a case of the termination happened way earlier but wasn't announced? Did they just not try to get a fee?)

If you're calling your competiton a "cup" then you need to be able to drink out of the trophy, I'm sorry but those are the rules. Vases are vases, plates are plates, shields are shields, cups should be cups.
🏆 NEWS: FIFA has unveiled what the new trophy will look like for the inaugural Women's Champions Cup.

All 6 FIFA confederations feature on the shield-like circular piece of golden 'silverware'.

It's one thing if WSL clubs are offering contracts that unsettle players so that an NWSL club has to accept a lower transfer fee, but to willingly agree to terminate Cascarino's contract so that she can walk to London is just terrible business.

Fire everyone.
