The U.S. is in the middle of a 12th wave of COVID. Career scientists at the CDC summarized this week in JAMA Internal Medicine that COVID continues to directly cause >100,000 deaths/year, with many excess deaths on top of that.

MD Currently as of the time of this post has 40 hospital with an ER status of level 4. what is level 4? Level 4 is when the ER is operating at 131% or greater of occupancy, meaning the ER is beyond FULL. You can view them all at the link below.
