Im not worried about the country radicalizing. What i need to see is whether people understand what needs to be done. Lots of children in camps still. Lots of waiting around for elections or thinking the courts have magic powers.

State police were founded to round up and kill my people. Australia is still a dinky little colony and media has been protecting cops since colonisation.
I very genuinely do not think that Australia's media industry can be classified as any other than fully supportive of police violence, because you have to actively, consciously and knowingly work to frame what happened as general "violence mars protests" rather than "police violently attack protest"
