Love Chris Hedges for his unswerving goodness, his intellect, his courage and mostly for his enormous contribution to our understanding Gaza. #NPC has covered itself in shameful obeisance to the Israeli lobby in Australia.

Netanyahu’s political career with the cease fire is over.

He needs to be charged with war crimes and genocide.

If you have been thinking about donating money to help people in Gaza, this is the time.

Organisations like Red Cross and Médecins Sans Frontières have a massive job ahead and need our money.
After months of intense violence, the announcement of the ceasefire brings relief to people in Gaza. Millions have hope of receiving aid.

The Red Cross is ready to scale up its aid efforts. This means we can hopefully provide much more aid in Gaza soon, to the millions of people affected by the violence. They urgently need food, water, and medical care.

The western media always refers to “the hostages” as those held by Hamas.

Apparently they are too lazy to access the readily available evidence,
or so imbued with an attitude of dehumanising and ignoring Palestinians (aka racism),
that they rarely mention the hundreds of hostages held by Israel.
diplomatofnight.com
Netanyahu's mouthpiece, Amit Segal, casually admits on Twitter that his country has been holding 1,700 people from Gaza hostage, including children.
Among other things, according to the decision:

- 250 security prisoners will be released.
- 1,700 residents of the Gaza Strip who were not involved in the events of October 7 and were arrested after the massacre will be released.
- 22 minors under the age of 18, residents of the Gaza Strip who were not involved in the events of October 7 and were arrested after the massacre, will be released.
- 360 bodies of terrorists will be returned.

When normal people get a ceasefire agreement they think "Good, this means we can finally stop fighting and killing." Whenever Israelis get a ceasefire agreement they go, "This means we have to hurry up and kill as many people as possible before it takes effect."

The ceasefire doesn't mean Israel has finished with it's genocide.
(It's Trumps bid for the Nobel) Please attend this rally and don't stop talking about Palestine.

Humanitarian and Tasmanian legend, Captain Madeline Habib was Captain of the Conscience- a substantial ship, full of doctors and medical aid in a second flotilla. She and her ship have been detained. She first tried to break the blockade into Palestine in 2016.

How interesting. Impressive woman. Maybe too long ago for you but knew Joan Russell from Adelaide when she first went to Antarctic base.

I’ve sailed on many Antarctic ships where Madeline was part of the ship’s leadership team, & spent many long night hours on the bridge talking philosophy with her. She’s an absolute Amazon & one of the most principled people ever. I admire her greatly & hope Australia is doing her bidding well.

The people screaming the most about Social Cohesion are the same ones, who when we had the opportunity to unite the country over the Voice, saw it as an opportunity to divide us. The opened Pandora's Box and made it OK to be openly racist.
