Aside from the controller support, a few games I tweaked the audio engine to improve some sound effects.

For LifeForce I updated the image in the options screen.

I'm seeing a lot of backlash over Stranger Things showing the arcade version of Ghosts 'n Goblins rather than the NES port.

I know some older people like myself have fond memories of it, but that Micronics developed port doesn't hold up at all and is it legit terrible lol. I don't mind.

do "piece work", are trivial to fire because they're not considered employees, have to cover operating costs with their own money, etc.

Similarly, normalizing AI (even if it's shit) lets you make entire groups of workers fully "replaceable" so you can pay them even less.

The point is to devalue labor. It's the same reason Uber was able to stick around despite burning billions for no profit: it made sense to cover that because its goal was to get rid of labor regulations. They sold a business model where workers have no rights, no vacations, no sick leave, (1/2)

While the HD master for Harmagedon/Genma Taisen is matted to widescreen, the LaserDisc release is open matte with a lot more shown on the top and bottom. Despite being made for theaters, I found many shots to be better framed for 4:3 than widescreen. Stay tuned!

I know I've had some improvements to the sound engine I would like to backport to my previous ports, but the sound via the emulator is never going to be perfect. I'll probably do msu1 clean versions going forward, but I don't know if I'll go back and add them to my previous ports.

I think Im like Roger in American Dad.

Bitchiness just builds like a toxin in my body and if I don't let it out Ill wither away and die. I like being nice a lot, but the cost is terrible.

As always, all my NES to SNES ports are open source.
The last step after every port is cleaning it up, and backporting improvements to my template. There were over 750 builds to get this port out. And a LOT of things learned and improved along the way.
