No books, music, films, time in nature, sport...?
If they weren't so loathsome and cruel, I'd pity them.

One European Election used the list system. A common factor in the bio of the UKIP list of candidates was they'd passed the 11 + and left grammar school at 16.
They were life's silver medalists. Envious of the smarter kids who went into the Sixth Form and university.
Farage is a silver medallist.
I hope the Farage bubble bursts before he does even more damage.

A few weeks back ICE agents ate at a Mexican restaurant and then *detained the restaurant's workers* and they're complaining about how they can't eat out anymore?
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

They refer to Minnesota-St. Paul as a "theater" which is a military term for a geographical area of war -- the European Theater of Operations and the Pacific Theater in WW2. That's the Trump regime mindset of how it sees the nation, as theaters of war against people. Ethnic cleansing theaters.

Bovino: "It's our fucking city."

And that, in a nutshell, is the problem. It is not a democracy when men with guns and uniforms believe they have more control over a city than its residents.

But it sets up Labour for a gunfight with professional landlords and investors.
