running is a roguelite - one more run
Insofar as I believe in the distinction between a roguelike and a roguelite, running, as a sport, is a roguelite. Briefly speaking, both for the well-versed and under-versed, a roguelike...

Just found out my wife might be losing her job, so I'm desperately searching for work. Contract, full-time, freelance, whatever. Press, PR, consulting, anything. I have 16 years of editorial experience and have been writing about games for 13. Reviews, news, previews, guides, etc. RTs appreciated.

I now run at a fairly regular time in the mornings, which means I see a lot of repeat dogs. Some great pitties within a two miles radius of my house, I must say.

New blog: time on feet + clair obscur

This week, I'm thinking about measuring my running not in miles, but in time, valuing dedication over distance. Also, I ruminate on Clair Obscur and howlongtobeat.

In 2025, I created a 5-part video version. You can now buy the entire video set for $25.
