Finally got a 100% in Silksong; a great and immensely frustrating game.

9 and a half of these hours were spent on the final boss, 8 on a mini game lol

I used to get mad when people misused "decimated" to refer to things that weren't 1/10th destroyed, but I've given it some thought and now I've done a complete 360 on it

1. This is hilarious and brilliant, bravo
2. The original meaning of "decimated" hasn't stuck because that meaning just isn't particularly useful anymore
3. The emotional horror of 1/10th of the people you work with being murdered makes the modern usage seem metaphorically valid to me

Juggle and bounce I had fun with. I spent 8 hours trying to get the optional highest score on dodge and just had to give up, lol. The hardest thing in the whole game (for me)

There's an optional mini game in Act 3 of Silksong that has so far been the hardest, most annoying thing in the whole damn game; I'm at 8 hours of attempting it and sunk cost fallacy has me in its grip.

No boss has taken more than ten attempts, and this is the thing that's breaking me blah

You're absolutely right. The runback here is especially annoying, which is a shame since the boss is so fun my main issue was going "c'mon, c'mon I wanna go again!"

Managed to make her stand on a pile of envenomed tacks while frantically weaving in between circles, smacked her with a pogo and won, felt like a ninja.

Favorite fight so far (Phantom a close second, Last Judge also rad)

It's a great movie, I just wish they'd given McDonnell more/something better to do, almost my only complaint for a genuine classic.
