uh-oh. turns out the mortgage document that the DOJ is alleging was fraudulent b/c great niece paid some rent (great niece testified she didn't) refers to "short-term rentals," which seems to blow DOJ theory that it could't be rented out of the water. Another disaster of a case.

We shouldn't have a province where you're struggling to take care of basics when you're working full time. It's increasingly frustrating how large the inequality gap has become and people still keep trying to structure everything to get people more money at the top.
