Tidal could be a real - if niche - player if they hired somebody to fix their iOS app and advertised that they actually pay artists (relative to other services). Instead, it feels like the "is Pepsi okay?" of streaming.
It's really an "anyone but Spotify" situation. Looking back on 2025, we can see everyone whose paid me royalties this year & the rates thereof (Tidal wins, but Amazon, Youtube & Apple aren't bad,) and looking back on my history with Spotify by year, we see exactly when their payout rules changed:

It's crazy how the way you have to get to WA ski areas directly contributes to worsening, shortening ski seasons (on top of the rest of the whole climate apocalypse thing).
Lots of places have public transit to ski areas, including Vancouver BC, Portland, and the Amtrak ski train from Denver to Winter Park. Having a mass of people drive up to the pass is bad for the climate and not particularly safe either. Why not have Metro do it? 2/
