The rage I feel watching that despicable excuse for a human being ask why Kaitlyn Collins doesn’t smile and no one speaking up on her behalf. Just another example of how silent and complicit this country is.

A good thing happened today: Haitians in Springfield, Ohio and elsewhere are (for now) safe from the planned ethnic cleansing operation. This happened because people came together — organizers, reporters, and those who care — and made it happen. Let’s take the win and continue the work.

Getting rid of vaccines feels much more sinister than “individual freedoms”. With decrease of vaccines immigrants who have been kidnapped and held in cages are at even higher risk of illness and death. This has never been about “safety”, this has always been about ethnocentrism.
This is the facility I was denied entry to a week ago - even though I'm the top Democrat on the committee that funds DHS and I gave them plenty of notice.

Black History Month, a reminder of all that is missing from American history classes. The de-humanization of Black Americans and fight for equality is often glossed over. A reminder that what is happening with ICE is not new, it’s the very definition of America’s founding ideology, White Supremacy.

They should be afraid, if we stop exchanging our voices for proximity to white mens power who will they control? White supremacy & patriarchy flourishes because of white women’s submission, so white women wake up and start questioning. Stop feigning ignorance to the role we play in this violence.
