Finally back to making stuff just to keep in practice.
Messed with the render settings once more after my settings magically reset. Argh. Surprisingly it still loops despite setting the frame step to 2!

Maybe the HAZE filter is meant to make the game look so unattractive no one checks for more stolen artwork.
"Fuck, shit, slap the HAZE filter on it and call it a day, we need this out by fiscal end or Sony are gonna hang us from jumper cables"

Much of the time mesh is too dense to simulate as a soft-body in Blender.
In those cases simply add a lattice and run the soft body sim on the lattice instead. Works especially well with the new "Lattice Deform Selected" option in #b3d 5.0
