I've been playing Bugsnax recently and even completed the main story today (I still need to go back and do the free DLC), and I think it might genuinely be one of my favorite games now. Go buy Bugsnax if you haven't, it's good for the soul.

I'm not even exaggerating when I say that at my local highschool, there was a recruiter just outside the cafeteria EVERY FUCKING DAY, and the school wasn't even that poor. And this was recent too, up to at least 2024.
from someone who was in school for the beginning of the "war on terror," please. please please please. talk to teenagers in your life about not joining the us military. about not letting themselves be groomed by recruiters in schools. they're going to want soldiers, and they always start young.

Just a reminder that “porn” should not be used when speaking about sexual abuse imagery. Please use the term CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) and not “child porn.” This goes hand in hand with not calling children “underage girls,” etc. Those are children.
