this is the very reason I love GDScript in Godot: instant compilation and hot reloading save maybe 30 minutes a day compared to a medium sized game in Unity where C# compilation is necessary. there’s a small in-game performance cost to that, but it’s workaroundable. #gamedev #godotengine
I think most game dev teams underestimate how damaging slow workflows are to the ultimate quality of their game.

If it takes 5 minutes to launch the game and see your changes, I think your game is going to be MUCH worse than the alternate timeline where it took 1 minute

For the past few years I've been working on the Broken Lore series. Their latest game Unfollow is out NOW! I play the diabolical Camilla. A dark manifestation of the main character, Anne's, school days. Broken Lore is an on-going series so you might see Camilla a few more times in various forms!

I really wanted to make a game like Payday 2, I wanted people to make 40+ videos about the build style they can adapt into my game. I'm having fun with Anarchist, Hacker, Armorer perk and a different set of skills is kinda fun.

In the span of weeks, I've gone from someone who has never used Godot, to struggling to "get" Godot, to really liking Godot, to having taught aspiring gamedevs the basics of Godot, to strongly believing Godot's workflow & structure might be the best approach to developing games for many purposes.
