Farage want to end homeworking?I work for an integrated care board that manages the NHS in my area. We decide what services are needed and try and ensure they are run properly.
The Tories cut our budget by 30%. Now we can't afford offices.
Will Reform increase spending to provide us with offices?

One of the easiest ways to shoot down the idea that "AI" is an expert is to show how it deals with something people know about.

Younger readers may not get this as most appliances come pre-wired, but anyone 35+ can see these are chaotic fire hazards.

From Mastodon, AI asked how to wire a plug:

Democratizing the arts looks like universal income, low-barrier grants for both emerging and working artists, well-funded municipal arts & recreation programs, vibrant third spaces, and a well-funded public school system with progressive curriculum.

Not a free pass for corporate-owned slop engines.
Every instance of "AI democratizes the arts, you're classist and ableist and a gatekeeper for trying to stop it" is a slap in the face to the literally centuries of poor, disabled people making art on the margins and a crass lie in service of a machine that strips down and regurgitates dreams

The death of a legal observer in Minnesota by ICE is a warning to the UK in so many ways. We’re tying ourselves to a violent, corrupt, racist nation which does not care about its citizens. Reform believes in its model, Labour is appeasing it. It is the public who will suffer.

The really weird thing about these interviews from Air Force One is that it looks like he's been stopped on his way to the toilet. He's constantly trying to disappear behind the doorframe, like he has somewhere he really needs to be.
I dunno, maybe that's how it works?
Trump: We need Greenland. Right now, Greenland is covered with Russian and Chinese ships.

Reporter: What would the justification be for a claim to Greenland?

Trump: The EU needs us to have it.

This is quite an important point; if you are a UK citizen with Twitter on your phone, opening it up is like playing Russian roulette that the algorithm might commit a strict liability offence on your behalf.
Has everyone whose scroll the illegal image appeared on also committed an offence by downloading it? This is one of those AI worst case scenarios that ought to make everyone aware of the current direction of travel.

Netflix putting the new Ricky Gervais special in my Recommendations, after I've put "👎 Not for me" against the last 3, isn't doing much to convince me that machine learning algorithms are any good at predictive modelling.
