Protesting is absolutely dangerous. It is v. dangerous for marginalized people, and even more dangerous if you don't have the money and knowledge to fight the system if you get caught in it. If someone says protesting is zero-risk and then asks you to text them about it, they are dumb or a fed.
"protesting isn't dangerous I promise so you don't need opsec for real seriously guys let me into your group chats" is uh. I would say probably no to that request honestly.

This is the problem with satires made by rich people: they want to look edgy, but don't want to upset status quo or piss their friends off. As conservative institutions become increasingly influential and fascist collaboration becomes a normalized part of making art, satire gets toothless and dull.

If i was a person who still wanted to write about movies for money, id write an essay about how cowardly modern satires made by rich moneyed people are. The need to do a "both sides suck" riff and ignore the realities of white supremacy, Christian nationalism and poverty makes theese movies suck.
