Apparently, understanding his sentences requires a PhD in delusion and a dictionary of chaos. He talks like autocorrect got drunk and ran for president.

If you receive an illegal order, you have a duty to disobey.

This isn’t controversial.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.

It's not even Halloween yet, and a store I was in yesterday was already playing Christmas carols on its public address system.

Although the drought killed most of my milkweed plants, I finally encountered my first monarch butterfly caterpillar, munching away on one of my surviving plants.

This grub/larva/caterpillar? Is about an inch long. Any ideas what it is? I did an image search and the closest result was a salamander, which it isn't. #larva #caterpillar

I build this ramp years ago so my dog could get from the backyard to the porch. However, she would sit at the bottom and not climb it, unless I called out, "It's Sophie the Wonder Dog!" Then she'd run halfway across the yard, turn and coming charging in, and get up it in one mid-ramp bound.

Although my milkweed is intended to help the monarch butterflies, honeybees also seem to like it.

Governors need to step up and make this happen.
It is time for state and local governments to arrest masked officers who won’t produce warrants and who have no proof someone is undocumented.

Kidnappers should be arrested and indicted and tried for kidnapping and serve the many years such sentences carry.

Is it just me, or do bananas look riper under the fluorescent lights in the store, then when under incandescent light or daylight?

It's a weed, but I like its flower. Of course, a "weed" is a plant growing where someone doesn't want it to grow. I've known people who considered clover to be a weed. If I see an unknown plant growing in my yard, I sometimes let it grow to see what it is, sometimes with interesting results.

Regarding the problem of books vs movies, something I've been trying lately is to watch the movie, then read the book. This generally results in two pleasant events, as opposed to one good event and one disappointment, which often occurs when one reads the book first. #thebookwasbetter

Anything look familiar?
Does to me.
Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.

I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.

Remind you of anyone?
