I am super happy to see Shiga Akane playing hockey and skating as well as she is, after the injury that took her out of last Worlds.

The public made noise for Liam Ramos and it got him released from Dilley.

Now we must make noise for 7 year old Diana Crespo.

Her parents were taking her for emergency medical care when ICE grabbed them, and she’s rotting in the camp sick and exposed to measles.

Get them out!

All the people I liked at the Washington Post are now gone. I’ve cancelled my subscription. I hope all of you (and most especially @emilygiam.bsky.social) have a soft landing somewhere your talents are appreciated. 💔

I know all eyes are on Minneapolis, but there's a fast-approaching nightmare in Springfield, Ohio.

Trump is revoking protected status for tens of thousands of Haitians living there on Feb. 3.

Reportedly, on Feb. 4, 1000 ICE agents are arriving to remove this population. Ethnic cleansing.

NEW: Trump last week pardoned ex-Puerto Rico Gov. Wanda Vázquez for the felony bribery case for which she was arrested in 2022, but not the misdemeanor campaign finance case to which she pleaded guilty in 2025.

Trump quietly issued her a new pardon for the misdemeanor yesterday.

If I were a religious person, and my pastor was revealed to be acting director of an ICE field office, I wouldn't just protest before, during, and after services, I'd push to have the church deconsecrated.

What the pastor is doing is so profane that he's desacralized the space.

Some perspective: The S&P opened down -1.3% on Trump's Greenland saber-rattling. That's $750 billion of wealth destroyed -- roughly equal to estimates of the value of Greenland.

And so ~in dollar terms~ his shenanigans have already cost the US one Greenland, and we've got nothing to show for it.

I’d like to see the PWHL try an over-and-back rule in OT next year: once you have possession in the o-zone, you can’t take the puck back across the red line. Delay of game penalty if you do. Keep things pushing forward!

For a literal decade the official CBP policy has been “don’t stand in front of or behind vehicles” because the decade before that their internally commissioned studies found that agents were putting themselves in front of vehicles so as to shoot the occupants
Because he put himself in front of the car to have an excuse to shoot!
