Omg I just finished the first drop of Stranger Things Season 5 and OMFG!!!! I legit screamed out loud! Avoiding spoilers for a week was so fucking worth it.

Good old Christian, Republican values on full display. And she said that shit with her full chest too. This timeline is terrible.
There is something very wrong with Megyn Kelly.

I have unsubscribed from the DNC email list *multiple* times. I wanna know who I need to talk to - a number or an address - so I can make them understand that I don’t want to see a single thing from the DNC right now. I especially do not want to see anything asking me for money. Just NO.

Oh look! More winning from Trump and Co. “9th month of consecutive contraction”? And Trump has been President for like 10 months now? I’m sure that isn’t correlated. No. Not at all. #sarcasm

This is actually quite brilliant, up to and including the final sentence 🔥

This. Right. Here. That is why I cringe when people say “give Trump voters the benefit of the doubt.” I can’t. They knew. They didn’t care. I can’t square that.
The problem with the President of the United States is not that he used the word “retard” in a tweet. The problem is that 77.3 million people voted for him knowing well what he was, is, and would be. No President of any party or religion or region or indeed intellect has been less fit for a vote.

WE NEED MEANINGFUL CHANGE NOT A CATCHY SLOGAN. JFC guys. And this is why so many people are calling for new leadership. This is what we’re working on? Seriously? Ugh.
No value, no villain, no vision. Sounds like the tagline for the earnings call of a collapsing appliance retailer

Alright. Bring back my Battle Bus. This surfboard junk is ridiculous. #fortnite

"Western civilization," the font, the 11 stars - 11 states in the confederacy, for the record.

Why is this never news? Why are we letting our government agencies do this sort of thing while the news agencies report on hallucinated trade deals and act like everything is normal

I’m proud to say I spent $0 on Black Friday. The sales were ‘meh’. I told myself I wasn’t going to haphazardly throw money into this broken economic system. I meant it. I’m paying enough for everyday necessities, everything is too expensive, and I refuse to participate.

Just another old man yelling at the clouds.
so none of what he’s saying is real btw

So if Americans are deciding to be more responsible with their limited funds they’re going to be blamed for ruining the economy? Look, listen, if we have no money to spend, we stop spending. Maybe pay people enough to have discretionary income. Wealth hoarding by the elite class costs *everyone*.
If a phone still works fine, it’s not “device hoarding” to keep using it. It’s common sense.

I just overheard my FIL bitching about how “NPR is just one-sided news now”. This coming from a man who has a Trump flag in his garage. This is a man whose house is deep-fried in Fox News 24/7. But partisan hacks at NPR are the problem? This is why I’m staying home on Thanksgiving.

In Trump’s America? 🙄 Yeah, if you’re out in the real world, you’re not seeing good things happening. The vibe are in shambles. The only people that feel otherwise are already rich and have all their money in the stock market. Just more winning. I’m so tired of all the winning.

I think MTG is actually being a politician right here. I think she knows that there *will be* a post-Trump America. And what does that look like? What does the GOP do then? Post-MAGA? I think anyone on that side is going to have to distance themselves from Trump to survive. She’s just early.
I think Greene's resignation is easy to explain. She has a mind for conspiracies. And she's found one. It just so happens to be the Speaker protecting the President and a ring of kiddie rapists.

So the headline isn’t telling the whole story? Weird. I think we need to be better about that. Anyway, they’re still revising July and August’s numbers so I’m not exactly convinced that figure is correct or will even stick. Anybody actually working will tell you it’s not great out there.

Watching The American Revolution. Odd choice to have the voice of Thanos be the voice of George Washington. I recognized it instantly and now I can’t not hear it.

The American Revolution doc is completely worth it. I’ve been patiently waiting for it for probably 6 months. It doesn’t disappoint. And….if you’re a PBS Passport member all the episodes are already available :)

My Amazon Prime Video isn’t working. Customer service is an AI chatbot. It answers nothing. It simply reposts the FAQs to every prompt . Yeah, the tech bros are right - AI is game-changing. A human rep has never made me want to chuck my phone out my window in frustration before. “New” indeed.

This is disgusting. Yes, there are differences. However, there is one glaring similarity in the fact that they’re both *children*. A 15yo is closer to 18 than not but they also can’t legally drive, vote, and need their parents consent for a whole lot of things. I mean, cmon. WTF.

Damn right.
The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.
November 13, 2025 at 10:02 AM
Oh, look. Another grift put into place to enrich some GOP members. “DOJ could settle lawsuits” means they will just cash these GOP reps out. Everything tied to Trump is a fucking con. Everything. And we’re gonna foot the bill probably in more ways than one.
