Stop calling the Gaza deal a "ceasefire" or a "peace deal."

Call it what it is: Israel winning the war. With Trump's help, of course.

The left won't acknowledge that because they can't handle the cognitive dissonance between "I care about Palestine" and "I helped Trump and Netanyahu win the war."

The article does better than the headline at correctly saying that *neither* Hamas nor Netanyahu is motivated to carry this all the way through. A ceasefire is good, the release of hostages is good, but I remain very pessimistic about the 90- or 180-day time horizon.

Israel’s new “agreement” with Hamas isn’t a peace deal, it’s a tactical pause. Troops remain inside Gaza, “repositioned,” not withdrawn. Netanyahu says they’ll still “act against threats.” Hostages will return to Israel, but peace isn’t next. It’s waterfront property for Trump.
