GRADING STORIES

Initially suspect ChatGPT then realizing it's an incredible run on sentence followed, at the end, by a description of the character pulling on an object, described as "tugging off."

Yeah, they wrote this for real.
GRADING STORIES

Student short story where the male partner is ordering around the girl he's dating and me leaving comments about how it's good character development and foreshadowing for the disaster to come but if anyone EVER talks to you like that you dump them immediately.

Fortnite just had a Quinton Tarantino, Kill Bill tie in.

Super awesome if you like Kill Bill.

Completely fucking inappropriate for young viewers.

So out of line we had to shut it off.

Re: Tom Stoppard - I know that most everyone feels that SAVING PRIVATE RYAN was robbed of an Oscar by SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE.

You can think what you like; I’m not a fan of this debate in general, and I’m a Spielberg guy. But dismissing SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE is wrong. It’s a great movie.

"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" was a mind-opening play for me in my teens. I didn't know that language could be simultaneously obtuse and razor sharp. I didn't know about absurdist writing or existentialist angst, but R&G played both beautifully.

Turns out the whole movie is on YouTube.

They will not stop til they tell you that their whole goal is fascism and folks will still be okay with it
In 1938, a New York Times reporter warned:

“When and if fascism comes to America it will not be labeled ‘made in Germany’; it will not be marked with a swastika; it will not even be called fascism; it will be called, of course, ‘Americanism’.”

87 years later.....

Once again, one very easy way for the New York Times to escape the constant criticism which it has found itself subject to these last years would be for it to stop acting in ways that <completely justify> all of the constant criticism which it has found itself subject to these last years

The president has illegally declared war to stop fentanyl trafficking from a country that does not traffic that drug, claiming its leader is trafficking drugs himself, the day after pardoning a former leader of a country who is a convicted drug trafficker.

You may ask yourself, why did those Representatives make a video about not following illegal orders?

This story is why. This is 100% a war crime. Gift article from Washington Post. wapo.st/49KbUJ1

Well thank god the N*zi Baby is perfectly cool with every Black person who is a descendant from slavery. That is such a relief. I mean, he is, right?

RIGHT?

okay there's two parallel Thanksgiving stories to be told. One that rooted in White American Protestant Christianity and the other that is rooted in the long Black Freedom Struggle.

We essentially celebrated two completely different holidays over the last 160 years.

Wait...only 160 years?

Workers here are cutting the tough pumpkin vines. Other workers will then collect and sort the pumpkins by size.

Pumpkin (like okra and cucumber) has tiny hairs on the vines that can be irritating to the skin, eyes and respiratory system.
