2013, BBC Scotland reporter Glenn Campbell reported on Luxembourg's stance on Scottish independence, prompting a complaint from the Luxembourg embassy.

This lack of transparency, highlights potential media influence on the 55% vote to remain in the UK.

Yes, because people have been enacting vicious anti-immigrant policies and using rhetoric echoing Enoch Powell, suggesting immigrants have done incalculable damage to the UK. Who might that have been?

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

Those of us in Scotland have had to put up with hugely biased output from BBC & Radio Scotland for years. Their anti SNP reporting is obvious (see some examples below), but apparently, it takes bias to someone in a foreign country for anyone to care. #bbc

It's not even as if we get much industrial benefit either and it certainly doesn't improve Scottish consumer's energy security or resilience.
As energy bills are set to rise again a reminder of the English financier who said ‘Scotland subsidises London energy bills’ and it’s ‘better for Scots to pay over the odds than those living in the English capital’ Hardly ever mentioned by @UKLabour is it?

Keir Starmer has killed the Labour party. Find Out Now puts Labour on 15%, 3% behind the Greens. Labour needs to combat the far right instead of pandering to it.

The poll puts Reform UK on 33%, the Greens on 18%, the Conservatives on 16% and the LibDems on 11%

In Scotland, the murder rate is at an all time low, with only 45 homicides in the past twelve months.
That, out of a population of around 4.5M
Twenty years ago, Scotland had the highest murder rate in Europe.
Amazing what can happen when a Scottish party is in control compared to the london ones.

The Democratic establishment's ugly reaction to Zohran Mamdani reveals an unpleasant truth.

They would rather lose elections than change.

The addiction to rich donors and consultants is killing the party. But Mamdani shows a path out. An analysis.

Amid all the fuss, remember that for much of the 1960s and 1970s, "the Spare" Andrew Windsor was just one unfortunate incident away from being the next king.

Hopefully, this appalling saga will lead to a proper national debate on our hereditary monarchy.

Long, long overdue.

Recorded crime in Scotland is at one of the lowest levels since 1974.

Police numbers are higher than when the SNP came into office.

And all that Anas Sarwar offers is empty rhetoric, hypocrisy and no solutions.
