To my pleasant surprise, the New York Times does not abstain from acknowledging the basic fact in this article: Nefesh B'Nefesh promotes settlement in the occupied West Bank.

This is the value of having a mayor elect who is willing to say the truth, it compels the conversation to change bit by bit.

I’m still thinking about Bari Weiss saying that Hasan Piker (extremely popular influencer) is less of a measure of where Americans are than Alan Dershowitz (extremely unpopular Epstein associate, his own neighbors won’t sell him a pierogi)

Genocide is still happening in Gaza.

And, at a slower - but still horrific - pace, in the West Bank.

I thought you should know.

FWIW, the fear of being investigated for what you say by the federal government is a terror those of us who spoke about Palestine have been living with for two years now—and with the consequences of that fallout. It's a sickening feeling.

DOJ official "said the interviews were to determine 'if there's any wrongdoing and then go from there.'"

62% of Jewish Israelis say a militant should be killed even if they pose no threat. 55% support heavy fire on Palestinian population centers after rocket attacks. Those findings come from a new Israel Democracy Institute poll of 600 Jewish Israelis. Here’s what else it found:

Funerals are being held in Gaza today after Israeli airstrikes killed at least 24 people on Saturday, despite the U.S.-brokered ceasefire that began on October 10. Gaza’s Government Media Office says Israel has violated the truce nearly 500 times in 44 days.

Beirut bombing today;
Israel's policy towards Lebanon is quite clear. It will keep bombing the impoverished and crippled state until Lebanon agrees to destroy its own resistance movement by engaging in a bloody civil war with its own Shia minority & Hezbollah.
Its lose-lose for Lebanon.

You Don't Hate The Mass Media Enough

The western press see the killing of Palestinians as such a baseline norm that Israel can massacre dozens of people in Gaza and they’ll go, “Gosh I sure hope this doesn’t lead to any violations of the ceasefire!”

Zohran keeping Tisch on as NYPD commissioner & saying Jeffries should be Speaker are 2 disgusting moves. it’s okay to call it what it is. you’re not throwing the baby out with the bath water. calling it out even if you think he’s making a “political move” is necessary, especially if you support him

Mamdani’s unqualified endorsement of Hakeem Jeffries staying leader of the House made me do a spit take.
I'm hesitant to even give Mamdani too much anti-establishment credit. The meeting with Trump at all, the keeping on Tisch as police commissioner, the YIMBY "affordable" housing proposals... Like a quotable I just heard elsewhere "you're not finding Dem Socs in the police kettle"
