This made me reconsider how much 'First Contact's' TV 2-parter-ness was an issue for me, because I think this one would actually benefit from being told in a more intimate, TV episode-esque way with a more closed environment.

Nice that 'The Original Series' goes out on a proper finale. Using a particularly noteworthy chapter in the changing tensions between the Federation and Klingons feels like a thematic baton pass to 'The Next Generation'

It's interesting that right as Paul's starting to get more lavish and confident with finding Wings' sound on 'Red Rose Speedway', George is trending is the opposite direction, with a paired down sound compared to 'All Things Must Pass'
