It's been obvious CR has been using AI for closed captions...pretty much ever since they started offering them, but I guess people complaining now is better than not at all
After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

As I keep saying about folks trying to defend supporting JK Rowling through Harry Potter: "Fucking Skill Issue."
So many of us in the anime and manga fandom dropped Rurouni Kenshin like it was hot garbage when it came out that the creator was a pedophile, and that was 100% formative for many of us.
