Now watching WINTER KILLS on the Criterion channel.
Been wanting to see this one for a long time. Don't know if it's good but it has an absolutely murderer's row of acting talent and is shot by Vilmos Zsigmond, so I'm excited.

A filmmaker who seems to have fallen out of the conversation is Peter Greenaway

The headlines focus on money, but the gigs were great and I think there are different ways to achieve progress. Art, especially comedy, can be part of that, says stand-up comedian, Omid Djalili.

Djalili is one of my favorite international comedians and offers a different perspective on the Riyadh comedy festival.

Very good reminders that governments are not their people and that gigs like this are a way to reach audiences who were inaccessible less than 20 years ago.
