Djalili is one of my favorite international comedians and offers a different perspective on the Riyadh comedy festival.

Very good reminders that governments are not their people and that gigs like this are a way to reach audiences who were inaccessible less than 20 years ago.

What movie ending lives rent free in your head?

The ending of Un Prophete (A Prophet).

If you haven't seen the movie, this won't look impactful but the movie really sticks the landing.

Probably the best use of Mack the Knife in a movie.

I went to an early screening of PTAs latest movie (it had zero AI) and the auditorium was packed on a weekday night. AI slop could never bring in that many people.
