I agree with this very much. That we lost Roe v Wade and nothing was done was THE sign of what was to come.

However, this is the subjugation of all people who experience pregnancy. Lord knows bodily autonomy is now robbed from all diverse genders.
On the 3rd anniversary of Roe v Wade being repealed, I have to say: if more people had been concerned about the subjugation of women THEN, we wouldn't be here being stripped of ALL of our rights now.

Breaking a 50-year precedent of human rights was the canary in the coalmine 🐦 many people ignored.

Three years ago today, Roe v. Wade was overturned.

In the face of increasing restrictions and uncertainty, we’re here to remind you:

✨️ Abortion is essential ✨️
✨️ Abortion is healthcare ✨️
✨️ Abortion is still here ✨️

And yes, you still deserve great abortion care.

Illinois handled 25% of ALL out-of-state abortions last year.

That’s 35,000+ people crossing state lines just to get care.

The Chicago Abortion Fund fielded 16,000+ calls and no one was turned away.

That's holding the line.
Nearly 25% of All Out-of-State Abortions Took Place in Illinois Last Year: Study
About 35,000 out-of-state patients traveled to Illinois for an abortion last year, accounting for 39% of all abortions provided in the state, according to a recent study.

It’s okay if you want your reproductive choices to be private. It’s okay if you want to shout about them from the rooftops.

Your feelings about your own experiences are valid.

Mifepristone, an abortion pill, is well-researched, safe, and effective. Pass it on.

Limiting or banning insurance coverage of IUDs and emergency contraception is a prerequisite to banning their use. Conservatives did this with abortion and are doing it with gender-affirming care
Whatever happens here, it's alarming that there could be changes to insurance coverage of certain birth control methods based on the false idea that they cause abortions. Redefining birth control as an abortifacient could open the door to outright bans on these methods at the state or federal level.
Far-Right Group That Helped Overturn 'Roe' Is Officially Going After Birth Control
Alliance Defending Freedom is urging the Trump administration to cut ties with a top gynecologist group that recommends insurance has to cover IUDs and emergency contraception.

NO NY MASK BAN

Your calls are working but we need to keep the pressure up. KEEP CALLING

If you are from out of state you should also call and say it will prevent you from traveling here.

Donald Trump is trying to dismantle reproductive freedom across the country. He’s signed executive orders to:

- Remove critical protections for abortion providers
- Pardon nearly 25 convicted anti-choice extremists
- Block research and data collection around maternal healthcare
