All those “Pro-Life” folks who spent 50+ years screaming about people “killing babies”sure don’t seem to give a shit about people actually killing babies.
Kennedy's zombie ACIP panel just voted to restrict hepatitis B vaccine for newborns. Experts say it will harm children for no reason. www.ms.now/news/rfk-cdc...

ACIP member Dr. Cody Meissner:

"'Do no harm' is a moral imperative. We are doing harm by changing this wording. And I vote no."
RFK Jr.’s CDC panel: No more hepatitis B vaccine for some newborns
The CDC's vaccine advisory panel, stocked with anti-vaccine activists and loyalists to RFK Jr., voted Friday to stop recommending a birth dose of vaccine.

What's the best book *review* you wrote, read, edited, or published this year? I'm rounding them up again for Lit Hub.

Again, it's not just the blatant disdain they have for you & me as citizens. It's also the blatant disdain they have for their own colleagues.

We should all start treating them with exactly the same disdain they show for us, their colleagues, the law, & the Constitution.

I don't think the Justices understand the extent to which they are playing with fire. The more they do this, the more District Courts will engage in open disrespect of the Supreme Court, because what other response is there to open disrespect directed at them? That's bad for the Judiciary, period.

Niche post but I’m still really mad about all the frozen yogurt shops disappearing, as if there was some sort of TCBY rapture, from Central Houston. Sometimes a gal just wants a cold treat with sprinkles, you know?

This has now been raised to the level of a blockable offense if you’re snide/sarcastic about it. If we’re friends on here and/or you live in Texas and have something interesting to say, then we can discuss.
People are predictably on here like oh no, she needs to stay in Congress, she can never win, blah blah blah. All I can say she is a very very smart person making a calculated choice, and I’ll always remember who took risks for us when things were really hard at a personal cost to themselves — 1/2
