I have been saying for years, due to the unique nature of the disabilities, a pension is more accurate and just allow those of us who can do intermittent part time work to not lose out on that either
What if we did tho, what if we didn’t means test disabled people on the SLP and just paid it like we do for NZ Super? Not related to your partner’s income, not related to your income, and just, well, supported people?!

Fucking nightmare!!
Only a dangerously unaware egg in a borrowed suit would put this woman in charge of anything to do with children.💩🥚😱
She can't even admit that our most popular psychoactive substance is 100% toxic even though we can all count the bodies.😒

The current Government wilfully spreads misinfo about unions despite being well aware unions are the collective voice of workers that rebalance the scales so that people in work are protected from exploitation and harm.

It’s a good time to join one. #nzpol

I’ll leave the detailed analysis to people like Prof Ursula Cheer, but I want to acknowledge something simple: speech can absolutely be harmful. It can humiliate, damage reputation, isolate, and endanger. These harms are social and structural, not just merely emotional.

Also useful to note that the money they spend on actual counselling has gone down despite their revenue increasing, which is explained by greater efficiency.

If a charity that offers a counselling service has more money, then surely, they ought to be investing in expanding their counselling?
This stinks more than a soggy gumboot , King's execs get 527k which is what some other charities run on per year if they haven't been cut altogether by this cretinus gov..

Luxon is so fucked
“ “If you want a job, go where the jobs are.”

“he told a broke, exhausted nation in recession that he was “wealthy and sorted”.

“ telling parents of poor kids that if they didn’t like the prison slop on offer in schools, make a marmite sandwich.”

“He’s a dead man walking.”

It’s a struggle so when that happens, I look at the most palatable but don’t vote for all if I cant find them just got to make sure the mayor, councillors and local boards are covered,
I am happy with my choice of mayor and councillors for my area

Does he still think autism is a gender thing?
Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."

Willis is callous & ignorant. Firstly, Fonterra despite all their money is not a Living Wage Employer. Secondly, it’s not positive if more than 1/4 of NZ kids are struggling for food & we grow enough for 40 million & govt inaction and corp greed means a steadily growing number go hungry. #nzpol
