No I mean literally birth control is just different formulations of progesterone and estrogen. I'm not a Dr or pharmacist so I don't know that much about it, but we literally do give women these hormones to level out their cycles, and birth control has side effects bc hormones are complicated

Well we only have 11 hours and 46 minutes of daylight where I am, which if you're doing the math at home is 14 minutes less than twelve hours so yeah I'm entering power saving mode. Sleeping 12 hrs a day, no drive to do things, none of those unnecessary feelings like "excitement". Yk, normal stuff

anders nilsen i think can be read as kind of pretentious but i love him for it. "Big Questions" is a tome but one i keep coming back to. i do not like alex graham or any of their other works, but "dog biscuits" got me thru the pandemic.

I LOVE ANYTHING BY MICHEL DEFORGE HES SO GOOD. "sticks angelica" is good, "big kids" is one of my favorite comics ever
i feel the same about lynda barry, esp her autobio works. "one! hundred! demons!" is great, but "what it is" is also up there for favorite works of all time
